This machine offers major benefits for companies that multi-pack snack bags in single flavours of 4,5 or 6 bags per pack
With its radical design the MMP machine dramatically reduces the footprint of traditional multi-packing systems that would typically use robots.
Not only is the MMP space saving due to its size, but since it also provides access to all areas for maintenance, cleaning etc.at the front, the machine can be positioned almost anywhere in the factory.
The MMP is designed to be close-coupled with single or twin primary bag makers, with its width being approximately the same as a twin bagger. With its modular build a single MMP machine can be twinned with another MMP in the future when production demand increases.
A typical line feeding to the MMP would consist of a bagger, check weigher and a short conveyor that feeds into the MMP’s stacker arrangement.
The MMP features the latest in linear transport technology, which is used to collate the bags into the desired quantity for the final multi-pack. Typical pack sizes are 4,5,6,8 etc.
With simple touch-screen controls the user can quickly change between multi-pack quantities without the need for changing parts.
The Linear track system combines the benefits of both linear and rotary systems, and in the case of the MMP, the bags are delivered to the machine and collated intermittently, and once collated the track is used continuous motion to simulate a typical flow-wrapper infeed.
Servo motors are used in the seam and end crimp units, thereby providing seamless integration with the track system
